Realistic Horror Masks

Horror Masks are made from different materials, but are generally made of latex. Those made of ordinary latex are worn overhead and are less costly. However, in order to present a realistic life size image of a devil, witch, ghoul, ghost, vampire or anything that may come up in one’s imagination so as to make it as true and frightening or disgusting, a person usually wears one of those Realistic Horror Masks.

Realistic Horror Masks as the name itself suggests are as real as one would find in one of those Hollywood horror movies. They have much greater impact on the person wearing them as well as those who observe or happen to come across them suddenly at some dark corner or surroundings. No doubt they are priced a bit high when compared to the other latex masks yet true to their mark they do deliver the required impact on the public. These Realistic Horror Masks also called prosthetic masks are made up of slush latex and are extremely comfortable and light weight. They are glued to the body and resemble the fine skin in color and appearance. They do not produce the heat unlike the other latex masks. In fact, it is extremely comfortable and a person can wear it for a very long time. However, unlike the ordinary latex varieties, they take a much longer time to be worn. But that is all easily discounted with the effect it produces. Again, one can eat or drink and hold conversation naturally which is quite impossible with the other masks. One can also see properly if there isn’t any sealed socket over the eye.

Realistic Horror Masks are generally done with the help of another person, a friend, relation or a colleague. However a lot of people do it by themselves with patience and dexterity of an artist. This is mainly because these masks are done in pieces. For instance, the ears are made first, and then the other parts of the body with the head in most cases are set only after every other part of the body work is over. The whole or pieces are pasted on the body with a natural coat of grease and then cosmetic powder is sprayed over it and finally the pieces are attached with glue.

The Halloween is the main festival season falling on October 31st when masks are usually worn by people all around the Western part of the world. However, of late they are even worn at fancy parties, night clubs, sports clubs or on any special occasion that would make a person slightly non realistic in a realistic surroundings. Realistic Horror Masks are the main items in the list of numerous attires for movies, stage plays and even magic and illusionary stage plays as they are only ones that produce those stunning effects required of a horror effect or mystery packed with intrigue in gruesome murder plots of a story or a play. The other illusionary effects no doubt add to the engrossing moment as people watch with their skin crawling in anticipation. Undoubtedly, they are living skin themselves.
