With the advent of industrial revolution and the rapid progress mankind made in the field of science and technology earthlings started to speculate about life elsewhere than in our own planet. His imagination gave vent to his feelings and desire which later were translated into arts and writing and the celluloid. His idea of a world much different than ours made him think of all possible kinds of life like creatures residing in far off planets of our solar system and also into the far corners of our milky way and other galaxies several millions of light years away. Alien Masks could be as varied and as grotesque and strange as human imagination could conceive upon. There is rather no restriction of any sort in the making of these ghastly, deathly, almost human yet vampire like, resembling images of exotic creatures living on the land and the sea or watery graves and not in least their extraordinary powers that spell evil and disasters for all good or evil residing on earth. For some surprising reason there are very few of these Alien Masks representing good and sociable souls. The vast majority of them depict a disposition truly war like with evil designs that would in every possibility exterminate the humankind out of existence. Thus, in the Halloween festival season which falls in October 31st these Alien Masks are great draws.
Alien Masks could be bought at open market or fancy stores or online like all other masks. They can come in any color or colors are available in whatever artistic the manufacturer can conceive upon and are also made at home by youths and grown up to make their masks unique and not stereotype. They can come in latex type or high quality slush latex. The latter also known as prosthetic masks are even used in stage performances, cinemas, outdoor parties and other stage events. Many are used by criminals to hide themselves or put fright into their victims in the middle of the night before robbing them of their precious belongings. For this reason the police are on their guard to carefully monitor any untoward incidents that may occur in large public places especially in places where Halloween parties and gathering of masked figures are at the peak of their fun and amusement. This is because Alien Masks are worn basically to hide ones face and identity and look like entirely different specie of another planet.
Alien Masks are a late entry in the tradition of masks, but have managed to spread with increasing demand. The representation in the various movies, as the protagonist was in constant fight with these masked figures for a more justifiable and peace loving galaxy or the universe, paved the way for these masks to be sold at every nook and corner of earth. In every possibility their demand is set to rise in the distant future too.
